Brass Winged Mobile Suit Micro Figurine — Sci-Fi Mecha Diorama and Terrarium Sculpture

Description

At 27mm, it occupies almost no space. In a diorama, it commands the whole scene.

The silhouette is unmistakable: symmetrical bird-like wings spread wide, a slim articulated frame, and the distinctive antenna and chest proportions of a high-mobility winged mobile suit — the kind of iconic design that defined an era of Japanese mecha anime. Fans of the classic 90s series centred on a peaceful world and five Gundam pilots will recognise it immediately.

Cast in brass using the traditional lost-wax method, the wing panels, joint detail, and body armour are all rendered with clarity at this micro scale. The warm antique brass finish gives it an aged, trophy-like quality that photographs beautifully against moss, stone, or dark backgrounds.

Drop it into a moss terrarium, position it in an aquascape foreground, or build a full tabletop diorama around it. It also makes an excellent DIY painting project — bare brass takes metallic effects, washes, and battle damage beautifully.

A curated find for mecha collectors, diorama builders, terrarium designers, and fans of Japanese sci-fi aesthetics.

Caring for Your Brass

Brass develops a natural patina over time — a sign of age and character, not damage. To keep the original shine, wipe occasionally with a soft dry cloth. For a deeper clean, a small amount of brass polish or a paste of lemon juice and baking soda works well. Avoid prolonged moisture or harsh chemicals. The more it’s handled, the warmer its glow becomes.

A small amount of blu-tack or double-sided tape can help it sit perfectly on your shelf.

Each piece is individually cast, so minor variations may occur.

All dimensions are hand-measured; slight variations may occur.
